Kim ngạch xuất khẩu hàng hóa của Việt Nam sang thị trường ASEAN trong sáu tháng đầu năm 2010 đạt hơn 5,24 tỷ USD, tăng 18% so với cùng kỳ năm 2009 và chiếm 16,1% tổng kim ngạch xuất khẩu của cả nước. Các nhóm hàng xuất khẩu chủ yếu của Việt Nam sang thị trường ASEAN vẫn là gạo và dầu thô với trị giá chiếm xấp xỉ 37% tổng kim ngạch hàng hóa Việt Nam xuất khẩu sang thị trường này. Tuy nhiên hai mặt hàng này đều đạt tốc độ tăng trưởng âm trong sáu tháng đầu năm.
