Bởi vậy, độc giả trẻ tuổi vẫn thích Dương Thụy viết thêm về đề tài du học để họ biết thêm, để họ chuẩn bị cũng như để họ hoài niệm.

Cuốn truyện cũng đưa người đọc đi du lịch tới các thành phố nổi tiếng của châu Âu bằng cách miêu tả khá chi tiết cảnh đẹp thiên nhiên, con người, màu sắc, âm thanh của những nơi đó. Trí tưởng tượng của người đọc có thể rời bỏ thân xác ở Việt Nam mà đi du lịch qua các trang sách, tưởng như mình đang ở châu Âu, đắm chìm vào phong cảnh đẹp như tranh mà họ vẫn hay thấy trên sách báo, tivi và họ cũng sẽ ganh tị với nhân vật vì cuộc du ngoạn ở miền đất cổ tích ấy, cùng với câu chuyện tình trên đất Âu. Tôi thích cách tác giả cho tôi biết thêm (và nhìn kĩ lại) tên của các thành phố ở châu Âu: Bruxelles (biểu tượng là tượng Manneken Pis (“cậu bé cầm chim đái” chỉ cao 6 tấc), Liège, Bruges (thành phố Venice phương Bắc) (Bỉ); Vienne (Áo); Paris (Pháp); Cũng như các địa danh: phố Marché aux Herbes ở Bruxelles, Grand Palace (quảng trường lớn – trái tim của Bruxelles), đồi Sart-Tilman ở phía xa Liège, đại lộ Champs Elysées, sân bay Charles de Gaulles (Paris); cả món ăn phổ biến ở Bỉ Moules et Frites (search trên google là nhìn thấy một món ăn khá khiêu khích).
