The electromagnetic field of the SPP are restricted in the neighbourhood of dielectric-metal interface. The simplest form of a surface plasmon polarition is an electrical stimulation from the wave form transmitted along a flat interface between metals and dielectric environment (usually a vacuum) and the amplitude decreases exponentially as distance from the interface. Detention in the neighbourhood of dielectric interface leads to a strengthening of electromagnetic field in the interface to create extremely high sensitivity of SPP for surfaces. This sensitivity is widely used to study the chemical adsorption on the surface, pouring the Assembly surfaces and related phenomena. The equipment based on the SPP exploit this sensitivity is widely used to make chemical and biological sensors. The enhanced electromagnetic field in the interface is the source of the optical phenomenon enhances the surface and create significant efficiencies in the optical integrated circuit technology based on optical information for recommended SPP and optical computers.
