Thang đo được đánh giá độ tin cậy t

Thang đo được đánh giá độ tin cậy thông qua hai công cụ là hệ số Cronbach Alpha và phân tích nhân tố. Hệ số Cronbach Alpha được sử dụng để loại các biến “rác”, các biến có hệ số tương quan tổng biến (Corrected item total correlation) nhỏ hơn 0.3 sẽ bị loại và thang đo sẽ được chọn khi hệ số Cronbach Alpha lớn hơn 0.6 (Nunnally & Bernstein, 1994).
Độ tin cậy được dùng để mô tả độ lỗi của phép đo, bởi vì ta không thể biết chính xác mức độ biến thiên của biến đúng và biến lỗi, không thể tính được trực tiếp mức độ tin cậy của thang đo. Tuy nhiên, chúng ta có thể thiết lập độ tin cậy dựa vào hệ số Cronbach Alpha. Hệ số này cho biết mức độ tương quan giữa các biến trong bảng câu hỏi, được dùng để tính sự thay đổi của từng biến và mối tương quan giữa các biến (Bob E.Hays, 1983).
