Ngoài ra Khu còn sản xuất giống sinh vật cản, nhân giống cây lâm nghiệp, cây dược liệu quý, sản xuất nấm và các chế phẩm vi sinh.
Tại Đà Lạt, việc phát triển các dự án trồng hoa sử dụng CNC đã đem lại hiệu quả rõ rệt trong việc tạo ra những loại hoa mới có chất lượng cao xuất khẩu và tiêu dùng trong nước.
