Dân số tăng lên, chất lượng các dịch vụ về văn hoá, giáo dục, y tế… cũng sẽ giảm do phải chạy theo số lượng để phục vụ số đông. Các gia đình đông con không đủ điều kiện cho con cái học hành đến nơi đến chốn, không được tiêm phòng đầy đủ…

Từ đó dẫn đến tình trạng kinh tế suy giảm, sức khoẻ người dân không được đảm bảo đặc biệt là người già, phụ nữ và trẻ em, trình độ văn hoá thấp kém… Tình trạng ấy sẽ trực tiếp ảnh hưởng rất xấu đến đời sống xã hội, đến tương lai nước nhà.
