Nước ngọt từ các hồ, đập nước được dẫn tới các khu sản xuất nông nghiệp nhờ hệ thống kênh mương dẫn nước bao gồm: hệ thống kênh Trúc Bài Sơn dài 108,4km; hệ thống kênh Quảng Thành dài 58km; hệ thống kênh Đường Hoa dài 15 km; hệ thống kênh Cái Chiên dài 15 km; hệ thống kênh nội đồng dài 332,5 km.

Nguồn nước ngầm: Hải Hà có trữ lượng nước ngầm khá lớn, chất lượng nước khá tốt, đảm bảo cho nhu cầu sinh hoạt của nhân dân. Đây là nguồn nước được nhân dân sử dụng qua hệ thống giếng khơi.

Nhìn chung nguồn nước cung cấp cho sinh hoạt, sản xuất công nghiệp và nông nghiệp ở Hải Hà khá dồi dào, tuy nhiên còn khó khăn vào mùa khô. Trong thời gian tới cần có biện pháp cải tạo, xây dựng các công trình dự trữ nước mưa, phủ xanh đất trống, bảo vệ rừng và đưa nước ngọt từ nơi khác đến để đáp ứng nhu cầu phát triển KTXH.
