Hướng thoát nước mưa của ô chôn lấp số 1 và số 4:
- Phía Tây ô chôn lấp 1 thoát về góc Tây Nam, máy bơm được đặt tại đây và bơm nước mưa vào cống xả SW1, xả thẳng ra rạch Ngã Cạy
- Phía Bắc ô chôn lấp 1 thoát về đỉnh phía Bắc, máy bơm được đặt tại đây và bơm nước mưa vào cống xả SW21, SW22 xả thẳng ra rạch Chiếu.
- Phía Đông ô chôn lấp 1 có 3 máy bơm được đặt dọc theo phía Đông, nước mưa được bơm vào mương thoát nước nhỏ, được lót bằng tấm HDPE dày, có chiều rộng 1m, mương dốc về phía Đông Bắc chảy vào ống SW32, xả thẳng ra rạch Chiếu.
- Phía Tây ô chôn lấp 4 thoát về góc Tây Nam, máy bơm được đặt tại đây và bơm nước mưa mương thoát nước nhỏ bằng đất, mương dốc về hướng giai đoạn 3 đang thi công, xả thằng kênh rạch nhỏ, chảy ra sông Cần Giuộc.
- Phía Đông ô chôn lấp 4 đang khu vực mở, đang tiếp nhận rác nên chưa có hệ thống thu gom nước mưa ở khu vực này.
Đối với các khu vực chôn lấp đang tiếp nhận rác thì phải chấp nhận một lượng nước mưa ngấm xuống và làm tăng lượng nước rỉ rác phát sinh.
