Originally a wooden structure, was built by William the Conqueror in 1068, Warwick Castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. During the hundred years war, the facade opposite the town was reinforced again, forming one of the most recognizable example of military architecture of the 14th century. In 2001, Warwick was honored as one of "the Top 10 homes and historic" and is one of the top tourist attractions in the uk.
