Các cơ quan chức năng của Việt Nam gần đây đã tổ chức một số diễn đàn doanh nghiệp trong một nỗ lực nhằm giải quyết vấn đề thiếu thông tin đối với các doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản khi đầu tư tại Việt Nam. Các nhà đầu tư Nhật Bản cũng cho rằng cơ sở hạ tầng và các dịch vụ tại Việt Nam không phù hợp để các doanh nghiệp của họ có thể hoạt động tốt tại Việt Nam, trong khi chưa có cơ quan chính thức nào kết nối các doanh nghiệp của cả hai nước.
