A là một sinh viên trẻ tuổi của phòng Kế hoạch đường bay của hãng hàng không Việt Nam. Sinh năm 1978, sau khi tốt nghiệp Đại Học Ngoại Thương Hà Nộ, anh nộp đơn xin việc vào hãng hàng không Việt Nam. Sau cuộc thi tuyển gồm 500 thí sinh là những sinh viên mới tốt nghiệp đầy triển vọng, A là một trong số 30 người được nhận vào làm việc. Trong suốt hai năm anh làm tại phòng Thương Mại Quốc Tế với nhiệm vụ nghiên cứu thị trường quốc tế và quản lí các chuyến bay. Từ năm 2004, anh chuyển sang làm việc tại phòng Kế hoạch đường bay
