Trong số 48 quốc gia dành cho du khách người Việt Nam không cần Visa có: Nhật Bản, Thái Lan, Các tiểu vương quốc Ả rập thống nhất (UAE)… Ngoài ra, 6 nước cấp visa cho người Việt Nam không thu lệ phí: Algeria, Afghanistan, Mông Cổ, Nicaragua, Romania, Cuba.

Các nước miễn visa cho công dân Việt Nam:

Có 17 nước, trong đó có 9 nước trong khu vực Đông Nam Á.

1. Thái Lan: Thời gian tạm trú không quá 30 ngày.

10. Indonesia: Thời gian tạm trú không quá 30 ngày, không được gia hạn thời gian tạm trú.

11. Brunei: Thời gian tạm trú không quá 14 ngày.

12. Malaysia: Thời gian tạm trú không quá 30 ngày.

13. Panama: Công dân Việt Nam nhập cảnh Panama với mục đích du lịch được miễn visa và thẻ du lịch – thời gian lưu trú 180 ngày.

14. Ecuador: Thời gian lưu trú tối đa là 90 ngày cho du khách Việt tham quan tại Ecuador.

15. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: Đảo quốc vùng Caribbean là St. Vincent and the Grenadines không yêu cầu Visa đối với khách du lịch đến từ bất cứ quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ nào.
