Ngày nay có rất nhiều học sinh và sinh viên ra nước ngoài học bởi vì môi trường ở ngước ngoài phát triển và năng động hơn ở Việt Nam.
Trước hết, ở nước ngoài có cơ sở vật chất hiện đại và tân tiến. nếu có đầy đủ trang thiết bị thì việc thực hành sẽ rất nhanh và dễ dàng, kết quả thực hành giúp sinh viên nhớ bài lâu hơn.
Thứ hai, môi trường ở những nước phát triển rất năng động kích thích sinh viên tự giác học hỏi chứ không thụ động như ở Việt Nam.
Thứ ba, môi trường làm việc ở nước ta chưa chuyên nghiệp, chế độ lương bổng chưa thực sự khách quan. Vì vậy rất nhiều sinh viên muốn ra nước ngoài du học để có điều kiện lập nghiệp và sinh sống ở đó luôn.
Bên cạnh đó cũng có nhiều sinh viên mong muốn ra nước ngoài học tập để có thể học hỏi được nhiều hơn và trở về nước đóng góp công sức của mình cho xã hội.
