Thời gian khóa van nước thải ít nhất 24 giờ (tính từ thời điểm khóa van) cho đến khi Bên B xử lý nước thải đạt tiêu chuẩn. Trong chu kỳ 30 ngày kể từ ngày đầu tiên phát hiện Bên B xả thải vượt tiêu chuẩn, nếu Bên B tiếp tục xả thải vượt tiêu chuẩn lần 2, lần 3, lần 4 thì Bên A có quyền khóa van ít nhất 48 giờ/lần (tính từ thời điểm khóa van) cho đến khi Bên B xử lý nước thải đạt tiêu chuẩn, kể từ lần 5 trở đi thì khóa van ít nhất 72 giờ.
