Hạt Vical PE là hợp chất của canxi cacbonat CaCO3, nhựa Polyethylene PE nguyên sinh và các chất trợ gia công – trợ phân tán khác.
Hạt Vical PE được sử dụng làm chất độn trong ngành nhựa với mục đích giảm giá thành và tăng cường một số tính chất cơ lý hoá cho sản phẩm như: hỗ trợ tạo màu trắng, tăng độ bóng, độ cứng, độ bền vật liệu, tăng khả năng định hình, chống dính khuôn, dính màng, cải thiện khả năng in ấn… Bên cạnh đó Vical PE còn góp phần tăng độ bền hóa, nhiệt, điện và khả năng chậm cháy của thành phẩm.
Sản phẩm Vical PE này tương hợp với nền nhựa PE, PP, PS, ABS… và được ứng dụng rộng rãi trong công nghệ thổi, ép, đùn, kéo sợi…
