Hiển thị nội dung một Page ra trang chủ
Tuy rằng Page không thể phân loại và có nhiều chức năng như Post nhưng nó cũng có thế mạnh riêng của nó. Như mình đã nói, Page thích hợp với việc đăng nội dung với các tính chất chung chung như các trang liên hệ, giới thiệu, thậm chí là làm trang chủ.
Ở trong bài hướng dẫn ngắn này, mình sẽ chỉ bạn cách lấy một Page ra làm nội dung trang chủ thông qua việc thiết lập Front Page cho WordPress.
Để làm được tính năng này, các bạn truy cập vào Settings -> Reading, ở phần Front page displays, các bạn chọn A static page.
Sau đó, phần Front page, các bạn chọn page mà bạn muốn đưa ra trang chủ, ở đây mình chọn trang Home Page mà mình đã tạo trước đó.


Save lại, lúc này bạn sẽ thấy trang chủ của bạn đã hiển thị nội dung của một page thay vì danh sách các post mới như mặc định.


Tuy nhiên, nếu bạn cần có thêm một khu vực để hiển thị danh sách các post mới thì có thể thiết lập Blog Page cũng trong Settings -> Reading. Bây giờ hãy tạo một page mới tên là Blog chẳng hạn và nội dung rỗng. Sau đó ở phần thiết lập Posts page, hãy chọn page Blog vừa tạo.

Và kể từ bây giờ, khi bạn vào page tên Blog nó sẽ hiển thị danh sách các post mới trên website của bạn, đường dẫn là http://localhost/wordpresslearning/blog/. Còn trang chủ sẽ là trang Home Page mà bạn đã chọn.

Page Blog sẽ hiển thị các bài viết mới nhất.
