Ngày nay học sinh trung học được áp dụng nhiều phương pháp học khác nhau. Trong khi có nhiều tiện ích cho việc cung cấp một phương pháp giáo dục tổng hợp với rất nhiều các môn học khác nhau, thì tôi cho rằng chúng ta tốt hơn là nên tập trung vào một số môn học nhất định liên quan đến công việc tương lai của các em
Việc học tập tất cả các môn cũng có những mặt ích lợi nhất định đối với học sinh trung học. Nhiều người cho rằng mục đích của việc cho trẻ học tất cả các môn là cho các em có một cái nhìn tổng quan về thế giới xung quanh. Ví dụ qua bộ môn khoa học các em có thể biết được rằng gió được bắt nguồn từ đâu hay cách các loài động vật được sinh ra. Bên cạnh đó khi biết được nhiều thứ thì cách các em nhìn mọi vật mọi việc sẽ bao quát hơn rất nhiều chứ không hề bó hẹp trong một phạm vi nào đó. Từ đó các em có thể lựa chọn hướng đi cho mình từ những gì mình đã học được. Đó chẳng phải là mục đích của việc giáo dục tổng hợp đó sao.
Tuy nhiên theo ý kiến của tôi, cái gì nhiều quá cũng không tốt. Thay vì học tất cả các môn các em có thể lựa chọn một số môn nhất định để học phục vụ cho tương lai sau này của mình. Giả sử em đó muốn trở thành bác sĩ sau này thì lộ trình học của các em có thể liên quan đến các môn về sinh học và khoa học liên quan. Có người bảo các em quá bé để có thể tự lựa chọn công việc tương lai của mình, tôi không cho rằng là như vậy. Ngày nay công nghệ ngày càng phát triển, từ các bé 3 tuổi đã có thể xác định được tiềm năng của các bé nằm ở những lĩnh vực nào thông qua sinh trắc học vân tay. Qua đó các phụ huynh có thể đưa ra hoạch định học tập cho con của mình để không phải đầu tư dàn trải. Hy vọng trong tương lai sinh trắc học vân tay sẽ ngày càng phát triển cũng như phương pháp giáo dục tập trung này
Để kết luận, tôi cho rằng học sinh cấp hai nên tập trung vào một tổ hợp các môn nhất định phục vụ cho công việc tương lai của các em.
