Tại Nghệ An, dịch xảy ra tại 10 hộ chăn nuôi ở xã Thanh Chi, huyện Thanh Chương và xã Trung Sơn, huyện Đô Lương. Tại tỉnh Đắk Lắk, có hai ổ dịch được phát hiện ngày 14 và 15/9 tại 22 hộ chăn nuôi ở TP Buôn Ma Thuột làm 101 lợn và trâu bò chết hoặc phải tiêu hủy.
