Tác động bất lợi của Việt Nam khi gia nhập WTO đối với sản xuất cao su là không đáng lo ngại do cao su của nước ta có lợi thế cạnh tranh được. Để phát huy được lợi thế khi gia nhập WTO, vấn đề đặt ra là phải nâng cao năng lực quản lý, áp dụng các giống mới và cải tiến chế độ canh tác để nâng cao năng suất vườn cây; đổi mới thiết bị và công nghệ theop hướng hiện đại, bao gồm chế biến sâu để giảm xuất nguyên liệu thô, nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm, đa dạng hoá mặt hàng, giảm chi phí và giá thành sản xuất; tăng cường xúc tiến thương mại, xây dựng thương hiệu và mở rộng thị trường. Đó là những yêu cầu đặt ra cho ngành cao su để đón bắt cơ hội và tạo sự phát triển bền vững trong môi trường hội nhập kinh tế Quốc tế.

To develop the advantage of joining the WTO, the problem is to enhance the management capacity, apply new and improved varieties cultivation mode to enhance the productivity of the grounds; innovation of equipment and technology of modern theop, includes deep processing to reduce the export of raw materials, improve product quality, commodity diversification, cost reduction and cost of production; strengthening trade promotion, brand building and market expansion. That is the request for the rubber industry to catch opportunities and create sustainable development in the environment of international economic integration.

To promote the advantages of joining the WTO, the question is to improve the management and application of new varieties and improved farming regime to improve productivity orchards; innovative equipment and modern technology theop, including deep processing of raw materials to reduce, enhance product quality, diversification of products, reduce costs and production costs; strengthening trade promotion, branding and market expansion. Those are the requirements set for the rubber industry to grasp opportunities and create sustainable development in the economic environment of International Integration.
