DỰ ÁN BAMBOO BLOOM
Tên dự án: Bamboo Bloom là dự án thứ 2 của 2013 Summer Project Series, sau dự án A Helping Hand.
Thời gian diễn ra: 21-27/7/2013
Địa điểm: Cồn Hô, xã Đức Mỹ, Huyện Càng Long, Tỉnh Trà Vinh.
Thành phần tham gia: 16 tình nguyện viên với nhiều quốc tịch khác nhau.
Các hoạt động chính:
• Xây dựng nhà tre- lấy ý tưởng từ đội thắng 3T&B trong cuộc thi Trả lại đảo xanh do Frogsleap đồng tổ chức kéo dài hơn 1 tháng.
• Gồm 3 giai đoạn chính
• Giai đoạn phơi tre: 6 ngày.
• Giai đoạn thi công trên nhà xưởng: cốt sắt, cưa tre…12 ngày
• Giai đoạn thi công trên cồn: chặt lá làm mái, đào móng, lợp mái…7 ngày
 Công trình mất 30 ngày hoàn thành.
 400 cây tre.
 Là nơi du lịch, tham quan, thúc đẩy phát triển du lịch địa phương.
 Công trình xanh, thân thiện môi trường.
 Gồm 2 giai đoạn chính:
• Tổ chức hội trại khoa học.
• Dạy tiếng anh cho học sinh trường tiểu học Đức Mỹ A.
Các con số:
 1500 lá dừa nước được TVN chặt để lợp mái cho nhà tre.
 7 ngày sống chung với người dân.
 20 phần quà được tặng cho trẻ em.
 100 học sinh được dạy Tiếng Anh.
 8 thí nghiệm khoc học.
 8.3 điểm là điểm TNV chấm cho dự án.
