Tại buổi làm việc, Thứ trưởng Hồ Anh Tuấn đã thông báo một số hoạt động lớn trong hợp tác văn hóa, thể thao và du lịch giữa hai nước trong thời gian qua và mở ra nhiều hướng hợp tác trong thời gian tới. Đặc biệt, năm 2013, nhân kỷ niệm 40 năm quan hệ ngoại giao Việt Nam – Pháp, hai nước dự kiến sẽ tổ chức Ngày văn hóa Việt Nam tại Pháp và Ngày văn hóa Pháp tại Việt Nam. Đây là dịp hai bên thúc đẩy quảng bá, giới thiệu và trao đổi văn hóa song phương.
