I. CONCEPTS, CLASSIFICATION AND CONTENT OF THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS:
1. Concept:
The restaurant business is a facility dedicated to the processing and servicing of food products in order to meet basic needs and other demands of customers for purposes mainly profit.
Thus, the main restaurant is a business establishment legally, it can take as an independent enterprise, also is part of the hotel or tourism business establishments certain.
Activities it's the restaurant's service processing and food products. Depending on the type and the specific conditions of the restaurant it can have different kinds of products.
2. Classification:
The restaurant business is a facility dedicated to the processing and servicing of food products in order to meet basic needs and the needs of the client for the purpose of profit. To exploit the restaurant business effectively, managers need to know what form of existence of this kind of business establishments, the advantages and disadvantages of each type of business organization, this is requires classification of restaurant management.
in fact today in Vietnam, people often use the classification criteria restaurants as follows:
