Honda Việt Nam đã tổng kết lại quá trình hoạt động 20 năm với sự nhấn mạnh tới các hoạt động đào tạo lái xe an toàn và đóng góp cho xã hội. Với ba nhà máy xe máy, một nhà máy ô tô, hãng đã cung cấp gần 20 triệu xe máy cho người tiêu dùng trong nước. Bên cạnh đó, với trách nhiệm của một nhà sản xuất ôtô-xe máy trước xã hội, Honda cũng đã nỗ lực tuyên truyền về an toàn giao thông và đào tạo kĩ năng lái xe an toàn cho hơn 6 triệu người trong những năm qua. Trong lễ kỉ niệm 20 năm hoạt động, Honda Việt Nam cũng vinh dự đón nhận cờ thi đua của Chỉnh phủ, bằng khen của Uỷ ban ATGT Quốc gia vì những đóng góp cho kinh tế, xã hội.

Sau 20 năm phát triển, số vốn đầu tư của Honda vào Việt Nam đã đạt 530 triệu USD. Đơn vị cũng đóng góp hơn 40.000 tỷ VNĐ tiền thuế cho ngân sách nhà nước (tính tới cuối năm 2015). Mặt khác, Honda Việt Nam cũng đã tạo ra công việc cho hàng chục nghìn lao động tại công ty và hệ thống kinh doanh phân phối trên toàn quốc.

Có mặt tại buổi lễ, ông Nagai Katsuro - Công sứ Đại sứ quán Nhật Bản tại Việt Nam - cũng chia sẻ: "Chính phủ Nhật Bản mong muốn được hậu thuẫn cho sự phát triển của việt Nam thông qua những chương trình hợp tác như xây dựng phát triển mạng lưới giao thông đường bộ bằng nguồn vốn hỗ tợ ODA, các chương trình tại các trường đại học nhằm phát triển công nghệ".Bên cạnh đó, với trách nhiệm của một nhà sản xuất ôtô-xe máy trước xã hội, Honda cũng đã nỗ lực tuyên truyền về an toàn giao thông và đào tạo kĩ năng lái xe an toàn cho hơn 6 triệu người trong những năm qua.
