Researchers at the University of Adelaide, Australia, has discovered that the chemical capsaicin in hot peppers may have to help people eat less to lose weight as well as to deal with obesity. This research was published in the scientific journal PLOS ONE. Scientists have studied the process of interaction between the receptor when receiving peppers (TRPV1) in the stomach and feel well fed. I.e. when the receptors receive the chemical in peppers, stomach nerves will be stimulated and send information to the brain about the body was loaded with enough food.Dr. Stephen Kentish, Center for nutrition and gastric diseases at the University of Adelaide said through research on mice, the scientists found that if skip receptor and causes the nerves could not react with the substance capsaicin, the mouse will eat more food. This brought to determine that this is the effective mechanism to help control the amount of food taken into the body. The new research will explore both methods of extracting the chemical capsaicin which is not accompanied by hot spicy Chili's level to more people can use it. The scientists also found that diets high in fat can also cause damage to the receptor, which sent incomplete information leads to excessive eating.
