Nhiệm vụ và phạm vi điều chỉnh của Bộ luật dân sự
Bộ luật dân sự có nhiệm vụ bảo vệ quyền, lợi ích hợp pháp của cá nhân, tổ chức, lợi ích của Nhà nước, lợi ích công cộng, bảo đảm sự bình đẳng và an toàn pháp lý trong quan hệ dân sự, góp phần tạo điều kiện đáp ứng các nhu cầu vật chất và tinh thần của nhân dân, thúc đẩy sự phát triển kinh tế- xã hội.
Bộ luật dân sự quy định địa vị pháp lý của cá nhân, pháp nhân và các chủ thể khác, quyền, nghĩa vụ của các chủ thể trong quan hệ tài sản, quan hệ nhân thân trong giao lưu dân sự, xây dựng chuẩn mực pháp lý cho cách ứng xử của các chủ thể khi tham gia quan hệ dân sự.
