• Sự thống thoáng chưa đủ để giải phóng hoàn toàn khí độc gây ô nhiễm hoặc bầu không khí thiếu ôxy.
• Việc tiếp cận khu vực khó khăn do vị trí hoặc độ lớn của lối ra vào hoặc phương tiện di chuyển ra vào còn thiếu và hạn chế.
• Khu vực không được thiết kế để nhân viên làm việc liên tục.
