Trong quá trình thi công xây dựng nhà máy điện gió, cần áp dụng các biện pháp sau nhằm hạn chế những tác động tiêu cực có thể xảy ra đến môi trường:
Khi thi công xây dựng các cột tua bin, không được xả nước thải (sinh hoạt, nước rửa thiết bị,…) trực tiếp ra nguồn tiếp nhận nước, làm ô nhiễm nguồn nước. Bố trí các hố thu gom nước trong công trường để đảm bảo xử lý cặn và bùn lắng hợp lý.
Công nhân làm việc trên công trường không được phóng uế, vứt rác sinh hoạt bừa bãi gây ô nhiễm môi trường mà phải thu gom và đưa đến bãi rác theo quy định.
Kiểm tra mức độ ồn, rung động trong quá trình xây dựng, từ đó đặt ra lịch thi công cho phù hợp để đạt mức ồn theo tiêu chuẩn cho phép về tiếng ồn (TCVN 5949-1998).
Các phương tiện vận tải nặng trong khi làm việc sẽ được yêu cầu hạn chế làm xáo động tới các khu vực xung quanh công trường xây dựng…
