Dựa trên kết quả khảo sát, khi giá cà phê tại các hợp tác xã thấp hơn so với giá thông thường, 62% nông dân cà phê được chứng nhận bán hạt cà phê của họ cho những người trung gian (người mua địa phương); 14% cho các nhà máy sản xuất cà phê được chứng nhận; và 7% cho những người đến đầu tiên để mua cà phê của họ (để hợp tác xã thu gom hay là để các trung gian). Chỉ có 17% được bán cho những người thu mua của hợp tác xã.
