Trên núi có Gwaneumsa, là ngôi chùa Phật giáo cổ nhất trên đảo. Chùa nguyên được xây từ thời Cao Ly. Giống như nhiều ngôi chùa khác trong nước, Gwaneumsa đã bị tàn phá và được dựng lại trong thế kỷ 20.
