Bảo vệ môi trường hiện nay là yêu cầu bức thiết của toàn nhân loại nói chung và Việt Nam nói riêng. “ Vì một thành phố không rác thải” vẫn là khẩu hiệu chưa bao giờ là cũ. Bởi trong xã hội hiện nay, liệu có mấy ai nhận thức đúng đắn về hành vi xả rác bừa bãi ? Ta vẫn thường thấy, rác xuất hiện ở mọi nơi, ở bất cứ đâu mà ta đi đến. Từ các con đường lớn nhỏ, những con hẻm phố cho đến những dòng sông, nơi đâu cũng có rác. Và người xả rác chắc cũng không phải là hiếm hoi để nhìn thấy. Vẫn còn đó những con người vô tư xả rác từ nơi này đến nơi khác. Họ thản nhiên vứt rác ra ngoài như cho xong nợ, rồi ngoảnh mặt quay đi. Thậm tệ hơn, là ngay cả khi bảng cấm “Không xả rác” vẫn chình ình ra đấy, mà vẫn có nhiều người vứt rác lung tung. Có thật đáng giận không khi ta nhìn thấy những cảnh tượng vô ý thức như thế. Có thể rác của một người vô ý thức ấy không đáng kể, nhưng thử hỏi cả ngàn người cũng đều không có ý thức như thế thì môi trường sẽ ra sao ? Đó phải chăng là một cuộc sống ô nhiễm đến trầm trọng, cuộc sống chỉ toàn mùi rác thải và những chất thải hóa học độc hại ? Thế nên, dù có lý lẽ thế nào, người xả rác luôn đáng bị phê phán. Bởi đó là những kẻ vô tâm, chỉ biết từng ngày phá hoại môi trường mà không quan tâm đến hậu quả về sau của nó. Họ chỉ biết cái sạch trước mắt mà không biết đến cái bẩn về sau. Họ là những con người vô văn hóa trong một thành phố văn hóa. Mà chung quy nguồn gốc ý thức của những con người này có lẽ phần lớn là do giáo dục và pháp luật. Giáo dục nước ta hiện nay vẫn chưa hoàn toàn nâng cao ý thức của mọi người. Đặc biệt là trẻ em- những đứa trẻ chỉ biết bắt chước thói quen và nếp sống của những người lớn “vô ý thức”. Để rồi từng lớp thế hệ nối tiếp nhau, chung tay phá hoại màu xanh của Trái Đất. Bên cạnh đó phải kể đến là pháp luật Nhà nước. Hãy nhìn vào Singapore, cứ mỗi một cá nhân xả rác đều bị quy về tội của Pháp luật. Thế là chẳng ai còn dám tiện tay vứt bừa nữa. Còn pháp luật nước ta vẫn còn quá lỏng lẻo để có thể xử lý nghiêm những hành vi xả rác bừa bãi. Thế nên, yêu cầu cấp bách cần được đưa lên hàng đầu, chính là nâng cao giáo dục và pháp luật. Nhà nước ta cần đưa ra nhiều biện pháp để giải quyết nạn xả rác bừa bãi cả ở thành thị và nông thôn hiện nay. Thêm vào đó là cần xử lý nghiêm những hành vi vi phạm. Vì chỉ có pháp luật mới có thể bài trừ những yếu tố chủ quan nhất để bảo vệ môi trường. Còn riêng bản thân mỗi người, chúng ta cần tự giác nâng cao ý thức bản thân. Rác thải vứt đúng nơi quy định. Nhặt rác khi thấy rác để góp phần làm cho cuộc sống trở nên sạch đẹp hơn. Nếu mỗi người đều rèn luyện cho mình những thói quen tốt ấy, chúng ta đã có thể góp một phần lớn để cùng nhau tuyên truyền khẩu hiệu “ Vì một thành phố không rác thải.”
Bảo vệ môi trường cũng chính là bảo vệ bản thân chúng ta cho hiện tại và tương lai. Mà muốn bảo vệ môi trường, trước hết hãy bảo vệ thành phố xung quanh ta từ những hành động nhỏ nhất chính là vứt rác đúng nơi quy định. Hành động và ý thức của mỗi cá nhân sẽ góp phần giúp môi trường thoát khỏi những nguy cơ diệt vong trước sự phát triển quá đà của khoa học kỹ thuật hiện nay, giúp hành tinh Trái Đất lấy lại bản chất màu xanh vốn có của nó. Hãy cùng chung tay vì một thành phố không rác thải!!!!
