Vào ngày 1/8/2016, chính phủ ban hành một bộ luật mới tại nghị định 46, bộ giao thông vận tải. Tóm tắt nội dung đó là : hành vi điều khiển ôtô vượt đèn vàng sẽ bị xử phạt như vượt đèn đỏ với mức phạt tối đa là 2 triệu đồng.
Nếu xét về phương diện khách quan, đây là một điều có vô cùng nhiều trường hợp để thảo luận. Bởi nếu đi sâu để phân tích, nó sẽ liên quan nhiều thứ về đạo đức, hoàn cảnh tham gia giao thông, trường hợp chủ quan của những người điều khiển phương tiện giao thông v.v...
Về phần của tôi, căn bản mà nói thì tôi đồng ý với quan điểm luật này của bộ, bởi vì :
Thứ nhất, nó mang tính răn đe nghiêm khắc về hành vi đạo đức của con người, góp phần hoàn thiện một xã hội văn minh.
Thứ hai, với những trải nghiệm của mình, tôi thấy đại đa số những con người tham gia giao thông thiếu ý thức về sự an toàn của bản thân và xã hội. Họ không hề có lý do nào hợp lý và chính đáng để có thể vượt đèn vàng khi tín hiệu này yêu cầu giảm tốc độ để chuyển tiếp sang chế độ chờ của đèn đỏ theo đúng luật, đúng quyền công dân và đúng với nhân tâm.
Thực chất, tín hiệu đèn vàng nếu suy cho cùng thì chính là đèn đỏ, bởi nếu cột đèn giao thông chuyển tiếp từ xanh sang đỏ mà không có tín hiệu trung gian để báo hiệu người điều khiển phương tiện giao thông giảm tốc độ, chẳng lẽ họ phải thắng gấp?
