Trong báo cáo tài chính quý III/ 2012 vừa được RIM công bố vào ngày hôm nay, hãng công nghệ nổi tiếng với thương hiệu BlackBerry đã đạt được mức doanh thu 2.9 tỷ USD. Mặc dù mức doanh thu này cao hơn nhiều so với dự đoán của các chuyên gia kinh tế, tuy nhiên RIM vẫn phải chịu khoản thua lỗ 235 triệu USD trong quý vừa qua. Trước đó, các chuyên gia kinh tế của phố Wall dự đoán RIM sẽ chỉ đạt được doanh thu 2.49 tỷ USD trong quý III năm nay
