Thương xuyên tổ chức các lớp học, tập huấn cho cán bộ làm công tác tín dụng về kiến
thức pháp luật, kinh tế, bồi dưỡng kiến thức để nâng cao năng lực đánh giá, phân tích rủi ro tín dụng cho cán bộ tín dụng.
Xây dựng chính sách đào tạo, khuyến khích cán bộ đang công tác tại chi nhánh đi học cao học, tiến sỹ tại các trường đại học trong và ngoài nước nhằm xây dựng đội ngũ cán bộ xuất sắc.
• Nâng cao tinh thần và đạo đức nghề nghiệp cho cán bộ làm công tác tín dụng
Để hạn chế rủi ro tín dụng, rủi ro đạo đức nghề nghiệp, đồng thời nâng cao tinh thần trách nhiệm, cần có chế độ lương bổng thích hợp để khuyến khích cán bộ làm công tác tín dụng. Hiện nay, việc các ngân hàng áp dụng mức lương như nhau cho tất cả các cán bộ tín dụng là không hợp lý, không khuyến khích người lao động hăng say hết mình với công việc. Do đó, đối với cán bộ làm công tác tín dụng, cần xây dựng một chính sách lương, thưởng phù hợp với mức tăng cường dư nợ của cán bộ đó. Đồng thời cũng áp dụng mức phạt nhất định trong trường hợp xảy ra rủi ro tín dụng với khoản vay như: tình trạng nợ quá hạn, nợ khó đòi… để từ đó nâng cao tinh thần trách nhiệm, gắn quyền lợi và nghĩa vụ của cán bộ làm công tác tín dụng đối với mỗi khoản vay mà cán bộ đó phụ trách.
