công ty cổ phần FPT là một tập đoàn kinh tế của Việt Nam với hình thức kinh doanh chính là cung cấp dịch vụ liên quan đến công nghệ thông tin.Ban đầu FPT là doanh nghiệp nhà nước FPT là viết tắt của ( Food Processing Technology - công ty cổ phần chế biến thực phẩm) sau này ( 27/10/1990) đổi thành công ty đầu tư phát triển công nghệ ( The Corporation for Financing Promoting Technology). Ngày 19/12/2008 FPT công bố đổi tên công ty thành Công ty cổ phần FPT.
