Phần thứ hai trong chương trình học

Phần thứ hai trong chương trình học này là Multicultural Issues. Tôi được biết về định nghĩa cũng như concept của culture thông qua những hàm ý về iceberg, onion. Văn hóa có hai mặt: mặt chúng ta có thể thấy được thông qua những quan sát thông thường và tìm hiểu thông tin từ nhiều nguồn, mặt còn lại chúng ta không thấy được là những core value của văn hóa được hình thành qua thời gian, lịch sử, tôn giáo, etc. Đây là phần quan trọng nhất khi tìm hiểu về một nền văn hóa mới vì nó ảnh hưởng đến hành vi cũng như cách cư xử hợp lí khi tiếp xúc với những người thuộc nền văn hóa đó. Những kiến thức về giá trị văn hóa Phần và communication style cũng được thêm vào chương trình học, qua đó chúng tôi có thể so sánh và biết được sự khác nhau của Fin với US/WestEuropeans và Châu Á.
