Theo Báo cáo tài chính hợp nhất năm 2014 đã được kiểm toán, chỉ tiêu lợi nhuận sau thuế của Công ty là hơn 329,3 tỷ đồng, tăng so với lợi nhuận sau thuế trên báo cáo tài chính tự lập với số tiền lên tới hơn 40,8 tỷ đồng (14%). Nguyên nhân có sự chênh lệch ở trên được Công ty đưa ra là do lợi nhuận sau thuế tại công ty con - Công ty Trách nhiệm hữu hạn Dung dịch khoan M-I Việt Nam tăng hơn 26,6 tỷ đồng. Bên cạnh đó, lợi nhuận chưa thực hiện trong hàng tồn kho tiêu thụ nội bộ năm trước đã tiêu thụ trong năm 2014 giảm gần 7 tỷ đồng. Ngoài ra, chi phí thuế thu nhập hoãn lại tại M-I Việt Nam cũng giảm hơn 7,2 tỷ đồng.
