History
It is thought that Aboriginal Australians have come from Southeast Asia at least 50,000 years ago. The first inhabitants lived mainly by hunting, they were scattered in 300 clans and spoke 250 languages and 300 dialects. From the eighteenth century to the present, force immigrants always have an important role for economic development - society of Australia. Most immigrants come from the UK, Ireland, Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Australia officially gained independence from the date 01.01.1901. The name Australia derives from the Latin word "Australis" - that is, belonging to the South, in 1814 the word "Australia" began to be used extensively and in 1824 it was accepted as the official name of the country present.
