Sau gần 10 năm triển khai áp dụng, thực hiện Bộ luật quốc tế an ninh tàu biển và cảng biển (ISPS), cũng như các văn bản pháp luật Việt Nam có liên quan, công tác đảm bảo an ninh hàng hải tại các bến cảng Tiên Sa, Sông Hàn đã đi vào nề nếp và được triển khai thực hiện tốt, có hiệu quả. Trong khoảng thời gian từ 01/7/2012 đến 30/6/2013, cảng Đà Nẵng đã tiếp nhận an toàn 750 lượt tàu thuộc diện áp dụng Bộ luật ISPS, trong đó có 68 lượt tàu khách với 88.188 khách quốc tế. Ngoài ra, cảng Đà Nẵng đã đón tiếp an toàn tuyệt đối 07 chuyến tàu quân sự nước ngoài đến thăm Đà Nẵng, không để xảy ra bất kỳ sự cố an ninh nào. Đạt được kết quả trên là nhờ sự nỗ lực của Công ty TNHH MTV cảng Đà Nẵng và sự phối kết hợp tốt giữa Công ty TNHH MTV cảng Đà Nẵng với các cơ quan quản lý nhà nước tại cảng. Trên cơ sở báo cáo và bản đánh giá nội bộ ANCB của cảng Đà Nẵng, các thành viên tham dự họp đã có ý kiến trao đổi, góp ý để hoàn thiện, nâng cao công tác an ninh tại cảng Đà Nẵng, đặc biệt là công tác phối hợp lực lượng giữa tổ chức an ninh của cảng Đà Nẵng với Biên phòng cửa khẩu Cảng, Chi cục Hải quan Tiên Sa trong công tác giám sát, kiểm soát người, hàng hóa ra vào cảng; công tác tuyên truyền pháp luật, nâng cao nhận thức về an ninh cho CBCNV của cảng Đà Nẵng, công tác huấn luyện, thực tập, diễn tập ANCB theo quy định. Đây là đợt đánh giá nội bộ lần cuối để làm cơ sở xác nhận hàng năm cho GCN phù hợp ANCB của 2 bến cảng Tiên Sa, Sông Hàn sẽ hết hạn hiệu lực vào tháng 6/2014.
