Đó là một trong những thông điệp trong chiến dịch truyền thông phòng chống bạo lực gia đình và bình đẳng giới được phát động trên toàn quốc năm nay.
Tại buổi lễ, bà Nguyễn Thị Thanh Bình, phó chủ tịch uỷ ban nhân dân tỉnh đã khẳng định: gia đình là tổ ấm của mỗi người, là tế bào lành mạnh của xã hội. Mặt trái của nền kinh tế thị trường hiện đang ảnh hưởng đến lối sống của nhiều gia đình, tạo ra khoảng cách các thế hệ, bạo lực gia đình và các tệ nạn xã hội khác. Bởi vậy, mỗi gia đình phải biết tự bảo vệ hạnh phúc, kế thừa truyền thống tốt đẹp và tiếp thu có chọn lọc lối sống mới.
Tiếp đó, bà Nguyễn Thị Đàng, phó chủ tịch hội liên hiệp phụ nữ tỉnh cam kết: Hội sẽ phối hợp với các cấp chính quyền, đoàn thể, tuyên truyền phòng chống bạo lực gia đình và bình đẳng giới đến từng hộ gia đình, từng người dân để chiến dịch thực sự đi vào chiều sâu nhằm xây dựng gia đình ấm no hạnh phúc.
