Tập đoàn Vingroup bắt đầu gia nhập

Tập đoàn Vingroup bắt đầu gia nhập thị trường bán lẻ Việt Nam vào tháng 10/2014 và bắt đầu mở chuỗi cửa hàng tiện lợi từ khoảng giữa năm 2015. Hiện nay Vingroup đang nắm trong tay 880 cửa hàng tại Hà Nội, Tp.HCM và từ nay đến cuối năm 2019 sẽ tiếp tục mở mới 10.000 cửa hàng nữa.
Vingroup đang tận dụng tối đa những thế mạnh trong lĩnh vực bất động sản để giành thị phần ngành bán lẻ. Chủ tịch tập đoàn này, ông Phạm Nhật Vượng, khẳng định rằng tập đoàn cần phải thâu tóm những vị trí đắc địa trước khi các công ty nước ngoài đổ xô vào thị trường.

Thậm chí, Vingroup cũng tuyên bố họ chấp nhận chịu lỗ ban đầu với khoảng 30% các cửa hàng.

Từ nay đến cuối năm 2019, Vingroup có kế hoạch mở mới 400 trung tâm thương mại và cửa hàng kinh doanh đồ gia dụng. Doanh thu từ ngành bán lẻ hiện đang chiếm 20% tổng doanh thu tập đoàn, Vingroup đặt mục tiêu nâng tỷ lệ đó lên mức 50% chỉ sau vài năm nữa.
