Mối quan hệ song phương giữa Đức và Việt Nam có một giá trị đặc biệt. Nét tương đồng về lịch sử, phẩm chất lao động cần cù của nhân dân hai nước là những tiền đề để Việt Nam và Đức trở thành đối tác chiến lược trên các mặt kinh tế, chính trị và văn hóa. Cộng hòa Liên bang Đức cũng là một trong những địa bàn trọng điểm trong công tác xúc tiến đầu tư của Việt Nam với lợi thế về công nghệ hiện đại, tiềm năng về vốn, chất lượng và kinh nghiệm quản lý tiên tiến. Tại diễn đàn, doanh nghiệp hai nước đã tập trung thảo luận các vấn đề như môi trường đầu tư tại Việt Nam và Đức; phát triển hạ tầng sáng tạo, cung cấp năng lượng và an ninh năng lượng.

At the Forum, enterprises of both countries gathered to discuss issues such as investment environment in Vietnam and Germany; innovative infrastructure development, energy supply and energy security.
