Ngày thể dục thể thao: Ngày hội này chính thức được ra đời từ năm 1966 nhằm kỷ niệm cho Olympic Tokyo 1964. Đây là ngày lễ nhằm khuyến khích phong trào luyện tập thể dục thể thao. Ngày này trước đây được tổ chức vào ngày 10 tháng 10 nhưng hiện đã chuyển sang ngày Chủ Nhật đầu tiên của tháng 10.
