Vào kỳ 2 của năm học 2009 – 2010, Đoàn trường Đại học Khoa học Tự nhiên Hà Nội thông báo về chiến dịch tiếp sức mùa thi hè 2010 cho toàn thể sinh viên trường. Tôi là một trong ba sinh viên của lớp đăng ký tham gia chiến dịch này. Lần đầu tiên tham gia một chương trình lớn và ý nghĩa như vậy, tôi cũng cảm thấy có chút hồi hộp và lo lắng. Nhưng rồi qua những buổi tập huấn, những cuộc nói chuyện với các bạn tình nguyện viên khác, tôi tự tin hơn và tự nhủ chỉ cần cố gắng hết mình là được. Và rồi chiến dịch cũng đã bắt đầu. Hơn 10 ngày, tôi chuyển vào ký túc xá cùng sống với các thành viên khác của Đội tình nguyện, cùng nhau hăng hái và nhiệt tình, cùng nhau cảm nhận và chia sẻ những suy nghĩ giữa cái nắng hè oi ả. Ấn tượng trong tôi là những cảm xúc vui sướng khi giúp được thí sinh tìm nhà trọ, khi nhường ghế ngồi cho một người mẹ đang chờ con, là khi con đường vẫn không bị ách tắc sau buổi thi hay hướng dẫn các phụ huynh đến được địa điểm thi một cách thuận lợi nhất. Sau kì tiếp sức mùa thi đó, tôi đã có những cảm nhận tuyệt vời về tình người, về sự đồng cam cộng khổ trong khó khăn và những bài học sâu sắc về cuộc sống. Tôi vẫn thường mỉm cười đầy tự hào khi nhớ lại là những ngày hè đầy ý nghĩa đó.
