Hoi An is an ancient town located downstream of the Thu Bon River, the coastal plains of Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, Da Nang City and about 30 miles to the south.
From the 16th to 19th centuries, Hoi An individual is at the center of international trade on a trade journey East - West, a prosperous trading port of Cochin - Vietnam during the reign of the Nguyen lords by merchant ships from Japan, China, Portugal Spain, Holland ... often come here to exchange, purchase and sale of goods.
