The article presents results of application of decision tree algorithm in data mining control for automobile exhaust gas. The research results showed that the ratio of cars not auditing standard of exhaust has the relationship with time of use of the car. Along with the increase of time used car, automobile inspection rate not standard also increased, in the period from 0-6 years of time use, the rate of unsatisfactory control of exhaust gas is below 6%, we can say this is the ' golden period ' in used cars; in the period after 6 years onwards, the rate of unsatisfactory audit ascending up, 12.04% reached the turn in the period 6-9 year, 14.29% in stages 9-12 year and 18.31 percent in stages over 12 years. Data mining results also indicated that, in the period from 0-6 years, the audit rate doesn't reach for the kind of car transport business not always low-much lower than with the type of car transport business (2.11% compared with 5.98% in the period 0-3, 4.37% 9.21%; in the period of 3-6 years). However, in the period of 6-8 years, this ratio is nearly the same for both vehicles, even, in the period of 9-12 years, with the percentage of non-transport business vehicles is also higher than the type of car transport business.
