5. Sau khi hiến máu, cần báo ngay cho cơ sở tiếp nhận máu nếu tự phát hiện thấy bản thân có nguy cơ mắc bệnh viêm gan, nhiễm HIV và các bệnh lây truyền khác.
Điều 69. Trách nhiệm của người bệnh được truyền máu
Cung cấp các thông tin chính xác về tình trạng sức khoẻ của cá nhân để hỗ trợ nhân viên y tế trong việc chỉ định, theo dõi và xử trí các tai biến (nếu có).

ĐIỀU KHOẢN THI HÀNH
Điều 70. Lộ trình thực hiện
Việc thực hiện xét nghiệm sàng lọc HIV-1, HIV-2, vi rút viêm gan B và vi rút viêm gan C bằng kỹ thuật NAT quy định tại Điểm g Khoản 4 Điều 14 Thông tư này và xét nghiệm sàng lọc kháng thể bất thường quy định tại Điểm c Khoản 4 Điều 14 Thông tư này được thực hiện theo lộ trình như sau:
a) Các cơ sở truyền máu trên địa bàn thành phố Hà Nội, tỉnh Thừa Thiên - Huế, thành phố Hồ Chí Minh và thành phố Cần Thơ phải thực hiện trước ngày 01 tháng 01 năm 2015;
b) Các cơ sở truyền máu trên địa bàn các tỉnh, thành phố Thái Nguyên, Hải Phòng, Thanh Hoá, Nghệ An, Đà Nẵng, Khánh Hoà, Đắc Lắc, Bình Định phải thực hiện trước ngày 01 tháng 01 năm 2017;
c) Các cơ sở truyền máu còn lại trên toàn quốc phải thực hiện trước ngày 01 tháng 01 năm 2018.
