Tôi tên là Nguyễn Biện - là luật sư thuộc đoàn luật sư tỉnh Kiên Giang. Tôi đến tham gia phiên tòa ngày hôm nay với tư cách là luật sư bào chữa, người bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp cho thân chủ của tôi là bị cáo Trương Quang Thanh, người đã bị VKSND truy tố về tội: “Cướp tài sản” theo điểm e khoản 2 Điều 133 của BLHS nước CHXHCNVN năm 1999 sửa đổi bổ sung năm 2009.

Qua quá trình nghiên cứu hồ sơ vụ án, theo dõi và trực tiếp tham gia thẩm vấn tại phiên tòa ngày hôm nay, nghe lời luận tội của đại diện VKSND cho hành vi phạm tội của thân chủ tôi. Với tư cách là luật sư bào chữa tôi xin phép được có một số ý kiến sau đây về vụ án,kính mong HĐXX xem xét để có một phán quyết công minh đúng người đúng tội và thấu tình đạt lý. Tôi xin phép không trình bày lại các tình tiết của vụ án đã được nêu trong bản cáo trạng và luận tội của vị đại diện VKSND mà xin đi thẳng vào các vấn đề sau:
