Hầu hết BệNH NHÂN nhập vào NRD trong tình trạng hôn mê sâu và BệNH NHÂN tại đây được nhận sự chăm sóc hoàn toàn từ điều dưỡng. Tại đơn vị NRD, tỷ lệ điều dưỡng/ người bệnh là khoảng 1/4 – 1/5. Do vậy, khối lượng công việc của điều dưỡng tại khoa là rất lớn và quá tải.
