Tổng mức bán lẻ hàng hóa và doanh thu dịch vụ tiêu dùng năm 2015 ước tính đạt 3242,9 nghìn tỷ đồng, tăng 9,5% so với năm trước (loại trừ yếu tố giá tăng 8,4%, cao hơn mức tăng 8,1% của năm 2014).

Xét theo ngành kinh doanh, bán lẻ hàng hóa đạt 2469,9 nghìn tỷ đồng, tăng 10,6%; doanh thu dịch vụ lưu trú, ăn uống đạt 372,2 nghìn tỷ đồng, tăng 5,2%; doanh thu du lịch lữ hành đạt 30,4 nghìn tỷ đồng, tăng 9,5%; doanh thu dịch vụ khác đạt 370,3 nghìn tỷ đồng, tăng 7%.
