Phát biểu tại Đại hội, ông Đào Quốc Tính – Phó Chánh Thanh tra giám sát ngân hàng, NHNN ghi nhận những kết quả bước đầu của Hiệp hội CTTC Việt Nam, nhất trí với đánh giá của báo cáo về kết quả hoạt động nhiệm kỳ II (2010-2014), đồng thời mong muốn, trong nhiệm kỳ mới, Hiệp hội cần có phương án nâng cao hơn nữa vai trò, vị thế của Hiệp hội trong việc đề xuất và thực hiện các giải pháp thúc đẩy thị trường CTTC Việt Nam phát triển; tiếp tục nâng cao công tác quản trị rủi ro trong hoạt động.


Đại hội đã tiến hành bầu Ban Chấp hành, Ban Kiểm tra, Chủ tịch, Tổng thư ký Hiệp hội nhiệm kỳ III (2014–2018).
